Just before June 2023, my broker account went up from -20% to 170% while I was sleeping. Ultimately, I was lucky and was riding on top of this AI bubble. However, I had zero idea at that moment, not until late August last year. The beginning was January 2023, and my first win was in early February in Singapore, where I bought one call option on AAPL and was rewarded with a 480% profit (120$ from 25%)....
It has been only a week, and there were so many crazy things happening within this week. I don’t know, I feel like it is going to be a “great” year. My account has dropped almost 5% the first trading day in 2024. I thought I was going to -10% in the first week. That’s also not bad. Last time, when I reached -20%, I flew to 170% the next day....
In February, I went back to Singapore to revisit my past life, and it was where I started programming 10 years ago. In April, I was back in my motherland ever since the pandemic started, and it was the place where I spent my childhood. In July, it was my third visit to Japan to meet my Ryuta’s aniki once again since 2019, and it was always a special place for me....

He was so happy when he was talking about it....
Last month, I started trading. It has been a fun and engaging experience so far. I went from 5% to 15% in two days and down to -5% in less than two weeks. It really teaches me about the market and also about myself. I am trading US stocks with IKBR, and it is extremely challenging due to the time difference. Sydney is now 16 hours ahead of New York. That means that the market starts at 1:30 AM....
