Well, it is almost Christmas again, but Christmas in Summer has always been strange to me. It almost feels like living in another world, but anyway, probably since last month, I was already in Christmas mode, so I become like little brain or even a no brainer. Time to rest, but just a bit more… I had a few goals this year, but sadly, I couldn’t do much. However, I want to get at least the trading system running early next year without any working strategies....

October is ending soon, and I only have two months left for this year. I had three major goals for this year, but like what I said earlier this year, they are more like guidelines. For sure, I have worked on them, but the outcome doesn’t match my expectations. Well, it isn’t a bad thing, I guess. Currently, I am working on a few things. One is the wowsinfo-core project and its MVP....

Today is the last day of August, and as Sydney is getting warmer, it feels as though the harsh winter has passed. Last August, I experienced a devastating strike in my trading career, but now, I view that moment as a new beginning. More pieces of my life are coming together, and each month carries more meaning. This fateful August, I have finally surpassed my past self both mentally and physically....

The name of this project is the best I have ever given. In the past, I always named my projects exactly what they did, but this time, NAIVE tells you nothing about trading. The name has a few meanings, the fact that I am naive, even a naive system can profit and keep things straightforward. I created this project in mid-2023… This may look like a sudden and random pursuit of mine started last year....

Just before June 2023, my broker account went up from -20% to 170% while I was sleeping. Ultimately, I was lucky and was riding on top of this AI bubble. However, I had zero idea at that moment, not until late August last year. The beginning was January 2023, and my first win was in early February in Singapore, where I bought one call option on AAPL and was rewarded with a 480% profit (120$ from 25%)....

It has been only a week, and there were so many crazy things happening within this week. I don’t know, I feel like it is going to be a “great” year. My account has dropped almost 5% the first trading day in 2024. I thought I was going to -10% in the first week. That’s also not bad. Last time, when I reached -20%, I flew to 170% the next day....

In February, I went back to Singapore to revisit my past life, and it was where I started programming 10 years ago. In April, I was back in my motherland ever since the pandemic started, and it was the place where I spent my childhood. In July, it was my third visit to Japan to meet my Ryuta’s aniki once again since 2019, and it was always a special place for me....

This one was never finished and has been in draft for half a year. I am just making it public now, not checked or anything but you get the idea. I always wanted to try trading because my father is a trader, and it sounded very cool. He often tells me about his trading philosophy but less on how to trade. He was so happy when he was talking about it....

Last month, I started trading. It has been a fun and engaging experience so far. I went from 5% to 15% in two days and down to -5% in less than two weeks. It really teaches me about the market and also about myself. I am trading US stocks with IKBR, and it is extremely challenging due to the time difference. Sydney is now 16 hours ahead of New York. That means that the market starts at 1:30 AM....
