Many things are coming back to me starting in 2023. It has been the 10th year for many things, and this only shows how wild I was 10 years ago. After almost 8 years, I was back in Singapore earlier this month to celebrate my 10th year of programming. Also, I wanted to test a few things to prepare for my next Japan trip. A lot had happened, yet I was back again to face my past. The trip was sort of sudden, but I made up my mind to go. I had been staying in Sydney for the past 3 years in my room working remotely....
As the trip gets closer, my emotion towards Singapore grows stronger. My days in Singapore weren’t the greatest, and it was rather miserable instead. For some reason, it always comes back, and I cannot forget about it. I spent most of my time in Singapore programming, and I rarely went outside except for school. That’s how I spent two and a half years there. I only met other students and my guardian once in a while....
I had no idea what I was doing before I was in Singapore. Every day, I woke up and went to school to study but for what? I had no goals back then because all I needed to do was study and get good grades. Life in Singapore was truly memorable. I was doing crazy things, and I have no idea how I did them. Talking with my classmates was hard because they had no idea what I was talking about....
Two years have passed. Everything has changed including me. I am no longer that simple, and I don’t like it. The ceremony today was great. It was only two years late, and nobody I knew was there. It reminded me of lots of great memories at UNSW. They will not fade away. I get a bit emotional because I knew they won’t come back anymore. There are too many feelings in me and very complicated....
I still remember I used to watch the September Apple Event live in Singapore. I had to stay up very late just to watch it but it was worth it. Every time, I enjoyed new products coming from Apple, mainly the new iPhone. However, I don’t do it anymore. The last event I watched live and in full was probably the iPhone X. After watching it, I was just so sad and almost cried....
Everything all started with an idea back in 2016 or 2017 when I say this video on YouTube. I cannot remember when I first saw it but this video was the origin. When I was young, I used to play the flute for a few years. I never liked it and it was only for extracurricular activities. I never thought that one day, I would start playing the piano. Actually, I was never into music in the first place because I didn’t listen to any music at all. Now, if I trace back, piano was always around me. During my music class, we used to sing together while my teacher was playing the piano....
8 years ago in Singapore, I went to the post office with my guardian to pick up my parcel from Beijing. It had several things in it and the most important thing was the C Primer Plus book.
