I had no idea what I was doing before I was in Singapore. Every day, I woke up and went to school to study but for what? I had no goals back then because all I needed to do was study and get good grades. Life in Singapore was truly memorable. I was doing crazy things, and I have no idea how I did them. Talking with my classmates was hard because they had no idea what I was talking about....
Two years have passed. Everything has changed including me. I am no longer that simple, and I don’t like it. The ceremony today was great. It was only two years late, and nobody I knew was there. It reminded me of lots of great memories at UNSW. They will not fade away. I get a bit emotional because I knew they won’t come back anymore. There are too many feelings in me and very complicated....
六年前、私は一人でシドニーに来た。六年間色々あったね。一人の私も友達が出来て、大学を卒業して、今は会社で働いている。空港に着地した時私は未来など全然分からなかった。それからの出会いも別れも何もかも知らなかった。 初めて会った人は中国人のタクシー運転手だった。私はちょっとびっくりした、中国語で話したから。英語じゃなくて中国語？ここはシドニーじゃないか。そう、シドニーにはどこの人もいる。そして、寮に着いて、知らない人が寮の場所を教えてくれた。「UniLodge」というクソ高い寮だった。私はまだ未成年だったから、毎日 8 時にサインをしなくてはいけなかった。今も覚えている、２０１５年の今日は私泣いた。誰も何も知らなかった私は少し寂しかった。 シドニーはシンガポールと違って、風景や人や慣習や英語も同じくない。それはもちろん国が違うから。今はもう慣れているが、あの頃は大変だった。シドニーに来た理由は教育の為、「Foundation」というコースは最初のチャレンジだった。私の英語はまあまだったが、クラスの中ではＴＯＰ３かもしれなかった。クラスの皆は中国から来て、そう、皆は全員中国人だった。まあまあいいかもだが、英語はぜんぜん使いなかった。クラスは１８人いったが、最後は１３人だった。私にとって素晴らしい記憶だった。色んな事があって、色んな人を会いって、色んな事をした。楽しい時があったら、悲しいこともあるよ。 そして、「Foundation」を卒業して、大学の生活が始めた！ 仲がいい友達が六人いった、毎日一緒にゲームをして、楽しかった。しかし、皆の専攻が違って、会えない時もあった。とある学期、私は日本語のコースを取った。そして、すべてが変わった。そう、オーストラリアの初めての友人を出会った。それは未来の「コディー先輩」というお方だった。私達は沢山の思いが出来た。日本語のコースはとでも良かった。沢山の出会いがあって、友達がもっと出来た。私ももっと OPEN な人になった。 その後、私は日本への小プログラムを参加した。あれは夢な様な日々だった。毎日も楽しんでいた。これはまだ他の物語だ。 日本から帰ってきた私は幾つかのコースを合格できなかった。大変の日々が来た！合格が出来ないと思う私は精一杯頑張って、運命を変えて、すべてを合格したのだ！その後、哲学のコースを取って、私は「LEVEL UP」して、もっといい人間に成ったが、まだまだ未熟だ。 大学時代はもうすぐ終わる。実は大学の四年間、私はいくつかのアプリを作って、そう、「WoWs Info」はその中の一つだった。この経験こそ、将来の切り札になる物だ！ そして、災厄が降臨した！そう、「COVID-19」そのものだ。 私は最悪の時に卒業して、未来は真っ暗だった。友達が国に帰って、賑やかな道が空っぽだった。私は又一人に成ったのだ。だが、それは私の日常、一人の私の普通生活だよ。その後、八月間仕事を探した。その間、色々あったね、それはまだ今度。遂に、去年の八月に見つけた。今はもう一年間働いていた。何もかもはやい、早すぎる。私もすぐ二十三歳の漢になる。未来は分からない、今のことしか出来ない、頑張るね、私。 仲がいい六人の友達は今全員中国にいる。先週の日曜日に最後の友達が帰った。私は兄貴をまっている、兄貴は今年シドニーに帰る。最後は二人だけ、残っている。違う、私だけ。兄貴は最初から PR だった。皆は最後オーストラリアに残れなかった。色んな理由がある。人生はいつも思う通り行かない。だが、私は信じている、人は必ず勝つ、人間は弱い生き物じゃない！ 私の友達は一生の友達だ。別れは時々あり、それは再会を待つだけだ。何年間を待つでも、又会うぜ、わが友よ！ あとがき This is my first time trying to write this long fully in Japanese.
