Today, I received my iPad Pro M1. The delivery is quick and I bought it because of the coupon I got from Apple. This device is amazing for an average user but very limiting for me. I enjoy everything Apple offers but it can never become a computer if the system is this limited. I received my coupon earlier this year after returning my Developer Transition Kit. Last year, Apple announced the transition to Apple silicon. This is a great thing moving forwards for Apple, but is it? I was extremely sceptical about it until I received a Mac mini M1 for work recently. Those benchmarks are not fake. M1 is fast and silent compared to an Intel based MacBook Pro. Do I enjoy using it? Absolutely. Will Apple succeed with this transition? Absolutely. However, I am still worried about it....
