Two weeks with iPhone SE

Today, I returned my iPhone SE gen 1 to the seller. It was a short time with my little iPhone SE, but I enjoyed using the phone more than anything else. It is tiny and light unlike most flagship phones, but it is a fully functional phone. It runs the latest OS (iOS 15), and all apps are usable. The external resembles an iPhone 5, but it has an A9 chip inside....

A15 Bionic

Another year, another boring event. Nothing is interesting since the iPhone X event. The notch this year is finally smaller but that notch is what stopping Apple. The new iPad mini is what iPhone 13 should be. Abandon the torch completely and move on with Touch ID and Type C. However, it is not enough. Apple can do better but they choose not to. One day, I want the iPhone to be like a desktop but first, Type C is required....

UTM

UTM is a virtualisation app for iOS and iPad OS. This is the only saviour for my new iPad Pro. ISH is simply too slow and took forever to compile my C/C++ code. Jekyll simple doesn’t work at all. With UTM, I can use Jykell with Debian at least but it is not great. Maybe, I should just download a git client on iOS and write my new post there....

My vision for iPad OS

Yesterday, I talked about my new iPad Pro M1. I love it and hate it at the same time. Today, I think I should talk about my vision of iPad OS. Apple may have something completely different in their mind but today, no Apple only me. The first iPad I used was the very first iPad. It was nothing special but a larger and powerful iPhone. My mom used to watch videos on it and she is still doing the same today....

iPad Pro M1

Today, I received my iPad Pro M1. The delivery is quick and I bought it because of the coupon I got from Apple. This device is amazing for an average user but very limiting for me. I enjoy everything Apple offers but it can never become a computer if the system is this limited. I received my coupon earlier this year after returning my Developer Transition Kit. It was a failure but that’s another topic....

Reminiscence ~ Piano

When I was young, I used to play the flute for a few years. I never liked it and it was only for extracurricular activities. I never thought that one day, I would start playing the piano. Actually, I was never into music in the first place because I didn’t listen to any music at all. Now, if I trace back, piano was always around me. During my music class, we used to sing together while my teacher was playing the piano....

Apple M1

Last year, Apple announced the transition to Apple silicon. This is a great thing moving forwards for Apple, but is it? I was extremely sceptical about it until I received a Mac mini M1 for work recently. Those benchmarks are not fake. M1 is fast and silent compared to an Intel based MacBook Pro. Do I enjoy using it? Absolutely. Will Apple succeed with this transition? Absolutely. However, I am still worried about it....
