People ~ is what matters

After my previous recollection, I want to spend more time emphasizing the importance of people because I was mostly focusing on myself last time. Many previous posts mentioned that my life had significant changes since the day I went to Singapore, and how it had to be that way due to many policies. Please hear it one more time and even more in the future because my past and future are always together…...

Project NAIVE ~ A new wave

The name of this project is the best I have ever given. In the past, I always named my projects exactly what they did, but this time, NAIVE tells you nothing about trading. The name has a few meanings, the fact that I am naive, even a naive system can profit and keep things straightforward. I created this project in mid-2023… This may look like a sudden and random pursuit of mine started last year....

iPad Pro ~ UTM via Trollstore

More than two years old, I wrote regarding UTM on iPad and my vision for iPad OS. Thanks to Apple for doing almost nothing interesting for the iPad. My iPad Pro had eaten too much dust and kept on iPad OS 16.2. Finally, TrollStore supported iOS and iPad OS 16. With that, I can run UTM with virtualisation support, and it can run faster than many x86 laptops. The new Stage Manager on iPad OS 16 was indeed a great addition or start for iPads to be somewhat productive, because it can support an external display and run multiple apps at the same time....

2024 ~ A Warm Welcome

It has been only a week, and there were so many crazy things happening within this week. I don’t know, I feel like it is going to be a “great” year. My account has dropped almost 5% the first trading day in 2024. I thought I was going to -10% in the first week. That’s also not bad. Last time, when I reached -20%, I flew to 170% the next day....

Reminiscence ~ Programming, Trading & Past Regrets

In February, I went back to Singapore to revisit my past life, and it was where I started programming 10 years ago. In April, I was back in my motherland ever since the pandemic started, and it was the place where I spent my childhood. In July, it was my third visit to Japan to meet my Ryuta’s aniki once again since 2019, and it was always a special place for me....

Singapore ~ Before the Trip

As the trip gets closer, my emotion towards Singapore grows stronger. My days in Singapore weren’t the greatest, and it was rather miserable instead. For some reason, it always comes back, and I cannot forget about it. I spent most of my time in Singapore programming, and I rarely went outside except for school. That’s how I spent two and a half years there. I only met other students and my guardian once in a while....

Reminiscence ~ Go Beyond

I had no idea what I was doing before I was in Singapore. Every day, I woke up and went to school to study but for what? I had no goals back then because all I needed to do was study and get good grades. Life in Singapore was truly memorable. I was doing crazy things, and I have no idea how I did them. Talking with my classmates was hard because they had no idea what I was talking about....

Return of iPhone SE

A month ago, I returned my iPhone SE. You might be wondering why it took so long. It is interesting because I only received it today. The device was returned twice because the seller sent the wrong model. I like the new device simply because everything works as it should. For the past month, I was living with my old iPhone 6s, and it wasn’t great. The battery life was bad even if the battery health is still decent....

MacBook Pro 2019

The all new Mac Studio is fancy. It is much cheaper than buying the latest MacBook Pro. However, why do I need to buy it if I can buy a used MacBook Pro 2019 with Intel i9, AMD graphics and 1TB SSD for much less? The 2019 MacBook Pro is almost perfect for me. I used to own the 2017 15 inch MacBook Pro, and it worked great for me. The reason why I bought it was because of bootcamp as I said before in Apple M1 a year ago....

AnimeGo ~ Road to Desktop

With the latest release of Flutter, Windows is officially supported, and this is a great LEAP of Flutter. However, the road to desktop is not simple. Simply running the same app on desktop is not fully supporting desktop. The app must adapt to desktop and should even include desktop specific features. AnimeGo was first created in late 2017, and it was only meant for Android. React Native was used for development, and the app was not that good....
